Revitalized Vision to successfully lead market expansion and business growth
Beginning in the early 90's, The Browning Group was engaged to help set the course for future chain expansion from a base of nine Southern California restaurants that were experiencing static growth. The company's Vision/ Mission/Core Strategies were revitalized and management focus was re-directed to the critical areas of performance improvement required for successful expansion. The Browning Group developed a computerized site selection model to guide expansion into the best locations. To accelerate individual store level performance, TBG created and launched market-by-market trading area development programs that included a field sales support system that generated significant word-of-mouth referrals. Continuing store manager training sessions also led to increasing the chain's base of loyal customers while inspiring/leading employees to a create superior customer experience. Today, the chain has expanded to 21 California and three Arizona locations with five additional restaurants currently under construction in Colorado, Kansas and Missouri. Annual same store revenues have grown from an average of $2.5 million per restaurant to $5 million or more.
